Description

If you set a property on the command-line of Maven with -Dproperty=value, that
value is *not* used when filtering files if a value has been set for the same
property in pom.xml (or maybe in a settings.xml file).

This needs to be re-tested, we've upgraded Maven significantly since it was opened. If anyone has a chance, please paste a simple test into this bug as an example.

I don't think this bug exists any more. For example, if you do set -Dopennms.home=... on the command line, then it overrides the default $

{dist.dir}

/$

{dist.name}

as defined in opennms/pom.xml.

Tested against maven-resources-plugin:2.5
