In one of the recent versions (1.1.4/5 or 1.2.0??), a very nice new feature is
that we are able to graph statistics from nodes which might not have valid
interfaces, whereas previously this could not be done 🙂

I have no problems with the normal graphing of statistics from nodes without
interfaces, but I notice that you cannot configure a KSC report for one of these
"interface-less" nodes because a prerequisite during the report creation is the
selection of an interface. Trying to forcefully submit returns an error asking
us to select an interface.
