      Description

We would like to create a tool capable of generating Netflow v5 flows (w/ ingress/egress support) representative of real TCP sessions for the purpose of evaluating the classification accuracy. This will be used to the classification and traffic rates generated by other tools to those generated by OpenNMS.

For example, it should be possible generate flows representative of 10 different TCP sessions with traffic rates of 100kb/s (in) and 10kb/s (out) over 5 minutes.

Controls should be given to adjust the number of TCP sessions, traffic rates, simulation duration, and ports.

The simulations should be deterministic in that given the same input, it will generate the same flows.

Proper values for the TCP flags should also be set in the flows.
