      Description

For subscribing telemetry stream data the OpenConfig standard is implemented by various vendors. It uses gRPC with Protocol Buffers as Interface Definition Language and Message Interchange Format. In OpenConfig the gRPC Network Management Interface (gNMI) specifies a gRPC based protocol to modify configuration from target devices as well as the control and generation of telemetry streams to a data collection system.
