Description
When you click on a service you can see the test parameters as an overview. It is also shown which service parameters are configured. For configurations coming from the polling package, this works fine. When Meta-Data is used, it requires clicking into the Meta-Data section and mapping by hand. To give more visibility on how the service test is configured, it would help to resolve effective Meta-Data variables and where they come from.
In the column "Effective" the parameter value is shown which is actually used for this service test. The column "Applied by" tells the user where this value is set which can be:
- The global service definition in the Polling Package
- Pattern parameter from regexp groups from the service name
- Meta-Data key-value pairs from the requisition context
- Default fallback value if Meta-Data is used but unset
