      Description

I've been having a problem where every fourth or fifth day, sometime during the night, the opennms server seems to hang ... it stops polling devices and collecting snmp data, and the java process just burns at 100% cpu. I first saw this problem in 1.3.7 (when I first started using opennms, so it may have been present before then), but I'm currently using 1.3.11 and still seeing it. To work around it, I've just been restarting the opennms daemon daily, but I finally decided to track down the cause, and it appears to be Statsd causing a database deadlock.
