The SNMP Poller behaves different in 1.8 and 1.10.
In 1.8, the SNMP poller only applies the poll for the interface status only for the interfaces that match the rules defined in snmp-interface-poller-configuration.xml.
This behavior has been changed in 1.10. Now the SNMP poller applies the rules defined in snmp-interface-poller-configuration.xml only for the interfaces marked with snmppoll='P' in the database, and the default value is snmppoll='N'.
So, if we are adding nodes through a provisioning requisition, a policy to enable SNMP polling is required for the requisition.
If a policy is create to enable SNMP poll on all interfaces, the policy is applied correctly but some seconds after, the primary interfaces are marked with snmppoll='N', which is wrong.
This problem is associated with the Support Ticket 1168.
