Description
I followed the installation documentation found at http://docs.opennms.org/opennms/releases/17.1.1/guide-install/
on a freshly installed Debian Jessie.
During installation procedure of the opennms-package, the installation of iplike fails.
As the log /tmp/install_iplike.log tells, the reason is that the database opennms does not exist at the point of installation. After creating the database as suggested by the installation documentation and then running the installation script manually, it seems to run fine.
This not a bad bug but at least a bad user experience.
