SNMP Interface Poller shows wrong information on the logs

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

    • Sprint:
      Horizon - April 25th 2018, Horizon - May 2nd 2018

      Description

      With the following configuration (and all the relevant interfaces have snmppoll="P" through SNMP policies) :

      <snmp-interface-poller-configuration xmlns="http://xmlns.opennms.org/xsd/config/snmpinterfacepoller" threads="30" service="SNMP" useCriteriaFilters="true">
      <node-outage>
      <critical-service name="ICMP"/>
      <critical-service name="SNMP"/>
      </node-outage>
      <package name="agalue">
      <filter>IPADDR != '0.0.0.0'</filter>
      <include-range begin="1.1.1.1" end="1.1.1.1"/>
      <include-range begin="::1" end="::1"/>
      <interface criteria="snmpifname = 'eth0'" name="Ethernet" interval="60000" user-defined="false" status="on"/>
      </package>
      </snmp-interface-poller-configuration>

      I'm seeing this on the logs:

      2018-03-13 15:46:41,435 DEBUG [Main] o.o.n.c.SnmpInterfacePollerConfigManager: createPackageIpMap: package is IPADDR != '0.0.0.0'. filer rules are agalue

      2018-03-13 15:46:41,478 INFO  [Main] o.o.n.d.AbstractServiceDaemon: snmp-poller initializing.

      For example,

      it shows:

      o.o.n.c.SnmpInterfacePollerConfigManager: createPackageIpMap: package 3: ipList size = agalue

      It should be:

      o.o.n.c.SnmpInterfacePollerConfigManager: createPackageIpMap: package agalue: ipList size = 3
