Feature should be documented as follows:

1. Add new topic under operation/events: Event-Sourced Performance Data
   (Create .perf-data.adoc file.)

   1. Intro about the feature - how it lets you collect performance data from events ... certain devices hard to get info from them via SNMP ... traps can have embedded numeric data that we can use

   2. Short bit about how it works - "if you see x event and it has this parameter, try to extract value from it and save as performance data"

   3. Sub-topic: Install and Configure Event-Sourced Performance Data Collection

      1. Steps on how to install this feature, how to configure it to work, cross reference to the event-configuration.adoc file, which has been updated with new cofig elements/parameters (see below).

      2. Describe where/how to view this data.

      3. Include note regarding any issues. For example, RRD: This feature may interact with step size and Xfiles features of the RRD tool, resulting in missed data.

1. Update the operation/events/event-configuration.adoc file to include new configuration elements/parameters (collection group, etc.)
