Please create a link on the node page to topology setting that node as the focal point and semantic zoom level = 1.

You can tweak the URL used by editing the bean id="topoMapsLink" bit in features/topology-map/org.opennms.features.topology.app/src/main/resources/OSGI-INF/blueprint/blueprint.xml
