I'm guessing that this was due to a stale browser cache because I haven't seen the dashboard behave like this and it's been rewritten in Vaadin for 16 anyway. Marking as fixed.

Tested the following browsers

Windows / FF / 38.0.1
Windows / Chrome / 43.0
Windows / IE / 11.0
OSX / FF / 38.0.1
OSX / Chrome / 43.0
OSX / Safari / 8.0.6

in 16.0.1 branch for GWT-/VAADIN-Dashboard and all seemed to work fine.
