Fixed in foundation-2016 and cherry-picked to Meridian release-2016.1.0.

I'm using debian jessie, however, this is nor really related to the issue, I'd guess.

Just download and unpack this file:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/opennms/files/Remote-Poller/remote-poller-client-17.0.0.tar.gz/download

There is a shellscript (bin/remote-poller.sh) included with this assignment in it:
MONITOR_JAR="$OPENNMS_HOME/bin/remote-poller.jar"

However, in the archive the file remote-poller.jar is not located under bin/, but under lib/ instead.

Can you provide more details about the platform you are trying to run the Remote Poller on? I assume Linux but if we know if it's Red Hat/Fedora/Ubuntu/Debian that might help us track down the problem more quickly.
