After installing the opennms-minion package on a new system, '/etc/init.d/minion start' fails to start the Minion.
When starting, the /opt/minion/data directory gets created by the root user, before we switch to the Minion user, and then startup fails with problems creating files in the data directory.
I believe that the culprit is the call to '/opt/minion/bin/status' before we switch users.
