Geographical Map map search capability is not as described in the docs

Description

For Horizon 31 releases, geographical map map search apparently doesn’t work as described in the docs anymore. None of the search text works including all the fields, exact or substring match. It needs enhancements. Not sure if this is a bug or enhancement. Putting it as bug for now.

Verified that H30 still works accordingly.

I think the problem was I was only testing severityLabel mostly. After testing this further, this field search is still completely broken even for exact matching. Same goes to category field. For other fields, exact matching works but not substring matching. You would also need to wrap the search text with double quotes, otherwise it won’t work.

For example,

What would be the steps to reproduce this? and what would be the expected result?

By looking at the demo site https://demo.opennms.com/opennms/ui/index.html#/map which is 31.0.4,

and typing some queries in the search box I can see the results OK.

Not sure what is not working….
